Founded in 2016 by artist and meditation teacher Jill Psenitza, Be Still With Jill is dedicated to cultivating a spirit of living creatively and embracing a more fulfilling lifestyle through simple creative and wellness practices. Based in Sydney and NSW’s Central Coast, Jill creates custom collages for private and corporate clients and facilitates private, group and corporate art workshops and events.

Collages are among the most vibrant, enjoyable & accessible art forms. With a few images and your imagination, you can craft a wholly new & unique narrative. Every private, group and corporate workshop starts with a guided meditation to cross the threshold into our inner, creative world. Participants will be guided through the creative process from start to finish by learning a few simple techniques to create their own unique collage.

“My creative practice is inspired by my fascination with our shared human experience of polarity and duality. The ancient story of day vs night & dark vs light…
The symbolic nature of collages taught me to look at the world through the lens of myth, metaphor, and symbolism, and how to use visual storytelling to harmonise our inner opposing forces. The creative process takes us into psychic terrain and collages are like a map that help us decipher the symbolic language spoken in stories and in our dreams. By making use of this symbolic language, we can derive meaning from common challenges and inspire self-transformation through our unique creative expression.
